The Neutralizing Cancer Check List

Do you know you have cancer cells in your body? Do not freak! We all have them. They are actually produced on a regular basis, but we never know BECAUSE…the body is capable of neutralizing these cells before they develop and cause harm. 

However, in our toxic, overloaded world, our bodies and our immune systems are more challenged then ever. The body’s natural ability to heal and neutralize is compromised leading to alarming rates of cancer diagnoses. Our cells are now too often depleted or toxic. Just count how many of your nearest and dearest are afflicted!

So what can we do to get back to the good old days, with our well functioning immune systems? To the time in our world where cancer was an aberration and not the norm?  What can we do to ensure our bodies are functioning normally and therefore capable of NEUTRALIZING CANCER?  

LOTS!!!!

 

THE NEUTRALIZING CANCER CHECK LIST

This is for those already diagnosed with cancer and for those who should be doing everything to PREVENT CANCER. This is for EVERYONE!

Cancer by definition is insufficient oxygen metabolism in the cell. Oxygenate the cells and cancer can not thrive or survive. Therefore, whatever depletes cells of oxygen, also feeds the growth of cancer cells. 

Bottomline: An alkaline body is high oxygen and healthy. An acidic body is low oxygen and ripe for cancer.

 

EAT AN ALKALINE DIET

Remember a tumor is a symptom of cancer, not the cause….

  • Eat organically produced foods.
  • Eat a more plant based diet.
  • Avoid processed or manufactured foods.
  • Avoid processed, supermarket fats and oils–all vegetable oils including canola oil. Stick to coconut, flax and VERY HIGH QUALITY olive oil.
  • Avoid Genetically Modified Foods or GMOs– anything made with corn, like High Fructose Corn Syrup, or soy unless organic.
  • Avoid MSG or glutamates.
  • Avoid Aspartame, Splenda and all chemical sweeteners. ABSOLUTELY NO DIET COKE!!!
  • Avoid artificial colors– Red 40, Yellow 5 and 6 are the three most widely used and known carcinogens.
  • Avoid barbecued and microwaved food.
  • Avoid inflammatory foods, including all dairy products, especially milk. If you eat dairy, then choose organic dairy to avoid hormones, antibiotics and GMOs.
  • NEVER drink sodas– they are full of carcinogens, GMOs, artificial sweeteners, colors etc. and are very ACIDIC.
  • Only organic animal meats, but keep to a minimum.
  • Avoid all farmed fish especially salmon and shrimp. Remember this applies to smoked salmon as well!
  • Take a daily shot of Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar diluted with water and start each morning with a glass of hot water with organic lemon juice– both increase alkalinity and limonoids in lemon have cancer fighting properties.
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY, AVOID SUGAR. SUGAR FEEDS CANCER CELLS.

EXERCISE DAILY

Exercise has been scientifically proven to reduce the risks of breast, colon, prostate, lung, colorectal and endometrial cancers.

  • Reduces inflammation thereby increasing the cells ability to repair DNA.
  • Reduces estrogen, reducing risk of breast cancer
  • Reduces insulin which can otherwise cause the growth of cancer.
  • Balances energy.
  • A strong, muscular body better fights infections and illness.

RID YOUR LIFE OF UNNECESSARY TOXINS

Use Greener Beauty Products and READ LABELS

If you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin! Remember our skin is our largest organ! When you apply lotions, chemicals instantly enter the blood stream making the health effects far greater than ingesting!! 

  • Suntan Lotions– Avoid Oxybenzone, a synthetic estrogen. Choose non-nano Titanium or Zinc products instead. Also, 15 minutes a day of sunshine or natural vitamin D is a healthy defense against cancer or supplement with a high quality Vitamin D3.
  • Avoid skin care products, soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, etc. containing the following carcinogens:

Acrylamide (found in many hand and face creams), Dioxane found in ingredients such as: PEG (Polyethylene Glycol), Polysorbates, Laureth and Ethoxylated Alcohols. Also, watch for Phenol Carbolic Acid, Propylene Glycol (a.k.a. anti-freeze, but commonly used in personal care products and e-cigarettes), DEA & TEA , Bronopol (breaks down to Formaldehyde), Artificial colors, Methyl, Propyl, Butyl, and Ethyl Paraben, and Phlatates –Toluene and Xylene– used in fragrances and nail polishes. Fluoride, Hydroquinone (skin lightner) and Mercury. Also Sodium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfate although highly debated on the internet. Always err on the side of caution! There are many more, but these are universally used.

Suggested alternatives: Jason Fluoride-Free Toothpaste, My Body Skincare and Coconut Oil as a moisturizer which has a natural SPF of 10!

  • Avoid Anti-Perspirants and Deodorants made with Aluminum, Propylene Glycol and Preservatives. (Try The Healthy Deodorant found at Sephora or Primal Pit Paste). Never use an aluminum anti-perspirant after shaving!!
  • Avoid anti-bacterial soaps made with Triclosan.

Drink Filtered or Pure Water

  • Filtered water or glass bottled water is a must. Buy a reverse osmosis filter for your tap or Mountain Valley Spring Water offers 5 gallon glass jugs. Tap water is loaded with Chlorine and Fluoride which creates a deficiency of oxygen and inhibits enzymes in the body. Remember avoid ANYTHING that depletes oxygen!!!
  • Also add a filter in the shower. Your body absorbs more chlorine in the shower than drinking 8 glasses of the same water. Chlorine vaporizes in the shower making it much more toxic.

Go GREEN when Cleaning

  • Opt for brands made without harsh chemicals including laundry detergents. Water, vinegar and lemon is best for household cleaning or hydrogen peroxide for bleaching.
  • Avoid Air fresheners and Dryer Sheets. They are sources of carcinogenic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) or gases. Next time you walk by a dryer vent and smell that Downy freshness, hold your breath!

Ditch Non-Stick Cookware

  • Avoid PFOA used in nonstick cookware.
  • Opt for cast iron like La Crueset.

Limit Exposure to Synthetic Estrogens

  • Oxybenzone–suntan lotions.
  • Flame retardants in foam furniture, carpets and mattresses.
  • Brominated vegetable oil (a.k.a. flame retardant) found in orange, red and yellow beverages. Never drink Gatorade, Powerade, Mountain Dew, etc– lethal combinations of flame retardants, High Fructose Corn syrup and carcinogenic food dye!
  • BPA found in the lining of cans, hard plastics, and cash receipts. Avoid Purell as alcohol increases BPA absorption. Also avoid heating anything in plastic. BPA leaches into food!
  • Pesticides are high in Fluoride and synthetic estrogens. Atrazine and Glyphosate found in Round Up weed killer are the most prevalent and also the most toxic. Consult the EWG’s dirty dozen list as to what you must buy organic. Also reduce home use of pesticides. Use essential oils for lawn care and pest management instead.

Reduce Electromagnetic Energies

  • Turn off WIFI particularly at night and minimize electromagnetic energies in the home.
  • Do not put lap tops on laps or carry cell phones in pockets. Avoid putting to the ear to talk. Use the speakerphone.
  • Limit Xrays and avoid the scanner at airports. Yes, be groped instead of radiated.

Don’t be a Pill Popper

  • Avoid any unnecessary pills which can cause nutritional deficiencies– i.e., statins deplete the body of Coq10. Birth Control Pills lower Vitamin C, folate, B vitamins, magnesium and selenium. Chemo drugs cause magnesium deficiency. The point– all synthetic or chemically altered pharmaceuticals have unintended side effects. Only take when really needed.
  • Avoid taking antibiotics whenever you can. The cold will go away on its own. Do not to rush for that Z-pack! Antibiotics destroy the natural balance of flora in the gut and declining levels of friendly intestinal bacteria lead to chronic disease including cancer. Opt for Oil of Oregano instead. It is an amazing natural antibiotic!

LET GO OF TOXIC EMOTIONS

Eastern medicine sees all disease or “dis-ease” as physical manifestations of underlying emotions. Heal the emotions, heal the disease. However, no need to wait till your emotions physically manifest. Start now. Heal your spirit, release toxic emotions–fear, anger, sadness, jealousy, etc., do some learning about yourself and insure your health. FYI– Cancer is not a death threat, it is a wake up call. So better to wake up NOW!! 

Here’s How:

  • MEDITATE. Find a teacher. Buy a guided CD. Mantra. Research on the internet a practice that resonates. Spend a few minutes every day in stillness. BREATHE.
  • Acupuncture helps open the energy pathways in the body. A good practitioner should be able to bring you to an amazing state of relaxation and facilitate the release of toxins.
  • Reiki or Energy Healings.
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping. Link here for a  “how to” video. It really works. Or find a Bodytalk practitioner.
  • SMILE and LAUGH as much as possible.
  • Make sleep a priority. Indulge in afternoon naps.
  • Spend more time appreciating nature and natural beauty.
  • Be conscious of your thoughts. Remember the book The Secret? They were right. Our lives are reflections of our thoughts. Keep thoughts positive and when you think a bad or negative thought– you can literally think CANCEL THAT THOUGHT. It is like a karmic eraser. The more you are conscious of your thoughts, the more you will notice the shift in thoughts from negative to positive, the better your life will be and the better your body will function.
  • Say no to the obsessive chatter in your mind. Read, The Power of Now by Ekhardt Tolle.
  • Avoid fear inducing movies and TV shows. They weaken your energy which then weakens the body’s intuitive ability to heal.

Remember the holy trinity…MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT!! Keeping all three in balance is the key to a great, healthy life!

Being healthy would be so much easier if the powers that be made better decisions in regards to what we put in and on our body. Our country is far behind other developed countries in setting standards of safety. Therefore, it is up to us to demand action.

SIGN PETITIONS!!!

They are effective and powerful tools for change. A young girl started a petition to remove brominated vegetable oil from Gatorade. In response to the petition, Gatorade will soon be BVO free. The popular blogger Vani Hari, a.k.a. Foodbabe, has used her voice via petitions to successfully get Kraft to eliminate Yellow dye from JUST one of their Mac and Cheese products, Subway to eliminate azodicarbonamide from bread. It is a substance also used in making yoga mats and a known carcinogen! Check out this list to avoid over 500 food items that are made with this substance.  Foodbabe also successfully lobbied  Chipotle to list all ingredients and to eliminate GMOs and Chick Fil A to remove Dyes, Corn Syrup and TBHQ.

If these two ordinary citizens can do it. So can you. Use your voice. You will be amazed as to who might be listening. But in order to speak, you first need to be aware. As always, I encourage you to DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
